About Pound for Piper

The Piper Alpha Memorial in Aberdeen's Hazelhead Garden commemorates the 167 souls who lost their lives in the Piper Alpha disaster.

The Pound for Piper Memorial Trust aims to raise £1million by the 6th July 2013 in order to repair the memorial and pay for the upkeep of the gardens and memorial for many years to come.

Pound for Piper Memorial is an initiative launched on 28th May 2012.

We want to raise £1m to help maintain the Piper Alpha memorial gardens at Aberdeen's Hazlehead Park by 2013, which will be the 25th Anniversary.
Sealed boxes are being put in place so that offshore workers can donate to the Fund.
